it's SATS not STATS

I love being a nurse. In fact I miss doing more nurse things. I miss giving people shots , I miss the beeps I miss all of that stupid shit I HATED previously. Now I sit and listen to people call me and tell me their belly hurts but they don't want to take the meds or follow the diet we suggested but want to know WHY OH WHY is my belly still hurting. These people want to know if there is a magic pill they can take to make it all better. No there is is not. NOR do I have a crystal, ball magic wand and ESP.

That aside, I have been listening to these people for 1 year and 7 months with no one to tell me if I was/am doing this job with any proficiency. Today i get a perfect review , not surprising. I was also informed as to why I cannot go to the DDW this year etc etc - pretty much all bullshit. My favorite part was when Steve said I was doing such a good job considering I have only been here for 6 MONTHS- are you fucking kidding me? I said I have been here almost 2 years Steve- he was embarassed as he should be - fucking people

Voltaire sucked

Now that I got that off my chest.

i am getting over what I think was swine flu or something like it. everyone is telling me the seasonal flu has not hit yet but the swine flu is rampant. I think it is just to scare the masses. I only have the coughing left but that is enough.

still have not lost anything but snot on the WW shit. I am trying to figure out the trick, but it is not easy. I need to buy some new pants especially but I'm not going to just yet I have enough stuff here that I have grown out of over the years.

We had a fun weekend last weekend well elliot did so this weekend I am going to, wish me luck

SO- I got rid of this blog for awhile and I am back. I feel I need this to keep me sane.
new things that are happening for me-
joined weight watchers down 30lbs this summer ( did that on my own haven't lost shit on WW)

still working at Wash U GI dept and I have not tried looking for a new job so that is a plus

The house is still a mess

Katy is getting married - thats exciting glad she did it first so I am now aware of the bullshit families put you through for something that is supposed to be fun

realized I don't want to get married due to the aformentioned comment

decided to start reading things I was supposed to read in high school - that's been an eye opener
reading voltaire-candide right now - the translation is poor

everyone else I know had babies this past year so I spend my time by myself and that is ok :)
